This week's LumiWed product updates.

Invite your partner in their language — when you invite your partner to
co-manage your wedding, choose the language they'll read. Their invitation
email arrives in that language, and their whole dashboard opens in it too —
so if the two of you speak different languages, you each get LumiWed in your
own.

Suomeksi, kiitos — LumiWed speaks Finnish — your dashboard, wedding
site, invitations, and guest emails are now available in Finnish, our 16th
language. Tervetuloa!

Ask your guests anything — add your own questions to the RSVP form: bus
times, song requests, childcare, whatever you need. Each guest answers them
in their own language, and you see every answer next to their name and in
your guest export.

A new theme: Noir Blanc — pure black and white. Your photograph fills
the screen, with elegant names below and nothing else competing.

Photos and formatting in every section — travel notes, story blocks,
love-story milestones, and schedule events can now carry photos under the
text, or switch to an advanced editor with headings, lists, links, and
inline images. Your guests see it all beautifully on your site, in every
language.

Photo editor — you can now crop, rotate, flip, and reframe every
gallery photo right in your dashboard, with square, portrait, and
landscape presets. We keep your original, so you can re-edit anytime.

Gallery layouts — choose how your wedding site shows your photos:
grid, masonry, or carousel.

Digital wedding invitation guides — new pages walk you through
sending free digital invitations in your language, now in all 16 languages
LumiWed supports.

Guest comments — you can turn on a comments section at the end of your wedding site from Design. Guests leave a short note (emoji welcome), and you can reply.

Privacy mode — Premium couples can lock their wedding site so only invited
guests who confirm their email can view it.

Journal articles read more naturally — each daily post now gets an extra
polish pass that strips AI-sounding phrasing and checks the writing against
human narrative habits, so pieces feel warmer and more specific.

Cookie notice — it now matches the rest of LumiWed, with the same warm
colours, type and rounded buttons instead of a generic pop-up.

Warmer greetings in every language — set a guest's title (Mr, Mrs, Ms)
and their invitation and reminder emails now greet them with the right
gendered word in languages that use one — German "Lieber/Liebe", French
"Cher/Chère", and more — instead of the neutral slash form.

A prettier Premium receipt — the email confirming your Premium upgrade
now carries LumiWed's warm signature look.

A gentle nudge in your language — if we open your dashboard in one
language but you arrived from a page in another, we now offer, just once, to
switch to the language of the page you came from. Pick either way and we
remember your choice — no repeat asking.

Site preview loads faster — the preview page is now rendered on the
server again, so it appears fully-formed instead of assembling itself in
your browser after the page arrives.

Section photos open full-screen — tap any photo in your travel notes,
story blocks, milestones, or schedule to view it large, with arrows to
browse. Works in your preview and on your wedding site.

No retyping when switching layouts — flipping a section to the
advanced editor now carries over your text and photos automatically.

Homepage flags — the flags in our headline now spread across the whole
page and drift down together, so you can see every language we speak.

A tidier dashboard — the floating cookie button no longer lingers once
you've made your choice. Need to change it? A new "Cookies" link sits with
Privacy and Terms in the sidebar.

The Journal moved home — our blog now lives right on lumiwed.com under
its own /blog section, so reading articles and browsing the site feels like
one place. Old links keep working.

Screen readers speak your language — if you use a screen reader, the
"Changes saved" announcements while editing now come in your dashboard
language instead of English.

Inviting your partner — once you have filled in their name and email, the
button beside the field says "Invite ", so it is clear you can bring
them in to help. Still entirely up to you.

Lighter pages — our pages now carry a fraction of the weight they used
to, so everything appears faster, especially on a phone or a slow
connection.

Premium themes look premium — themes that need an upgrade now carry a
clear "Premium theme — Unlock Premium" bar across the bottom of the card, so
you can tell at a glance which ones are included in your plan.

Preview from anywhere in the editor — the floating menu now has a preview button, so you can open your site without scrolling back to the top.

Floating language button — the thumb-reach language control on wedding sites is off by default (PostHog flag). The header language control stays available when a wedding has more than one language.

Guest list name row — guest name and email now share one row; hover the
name to see the email in a tooltip.

Guest list filters — attendance and side filters sit next to search in one
tidy row, and the guest detail panel puts activity on the side so your guest
info has room to breathe.

Translating RSVP questions — switch a language in the content editor and your custom RSVP questions now show the original text so you can translate each question and its options, just like every other section.

Language flag button — your wedding site now shows a round country flag for language switching instead of a flag emoji.

Floating guest menu — RSVP, language, and scroll-to-top now sit lower (aligned with the cookie button) and share one compact size.

Venue names stay as you wrote them — we no longer auto-translate venue
and location names, since they're usually proper names. If yours is really a
description ("Our Wedding", "Reception"), switch language and translate it
yourself — an info icon on the field explains this.

The Publish button responds on the first tap — on tablets and phones, the
Publish button in the side menu no longer needed a second tap before anything
happened. One tap now opens publishing straight away.

Sending an invite shows it's working — the send-invite button now shows a
spinner the moment you tap it, instead of looking like nothing happened while
your invitation is on its way.

Guests without an email say why they can't be selected — the tick box next
to a guest who has no email address now tells you an email is needed when you
tap it, instead of silently doing nothing.

Formatting buttons light up right away — in the advanced editor, tapping
Bold, a heading, or a list now highlights the button immediately, even before
you start typing, so you can tell it worked.

Picking a date and time is smoother — the date and time pickers when you
add a moment to your schedule now open on the first click instead of
sometimes needing a few tries.

You're told when a schedule moment is added — or if it isn't — adding a
moment to your day's programme now confirms it saved, and warns you clearly
if something went wrong, instead of leaving you guessing.

Tap a photo to move through the gallery — when browsing photos fullscreen
on your wedding site, tapping the photo now moves to the next one (or the
previous one, tapping its left side), so your guests aren't left tapping a
photo that doesn't respond.

Your names stay your names — names, nicknames, parents' names, your
country and your social links are no longer sent for translation. They read
the same in every language, as they should. Only your "about me" text gets
translated on the couple page.

Cookie choices are respected in the dashboard — if you decline analytics
cookies, tracking scripts no longer load.

Dashboard on mobile — a brief drop in signal no longer shows an error
screen. Your dashboard now quietly retries and loads as normal.

Switching a section's editor keeps your translations — flipping a travel
note (or any body-text section) between the simple and advanced editor now
carries your text and every translation across both ways. Simple to
advanced keeps your wording; advanced back to simple keeps the words and
line breaks, dropping only the formatting. Nothing you or your guests read
gets lost either direction.

RSVP confirmation emails read naturally again — French, Spanish, and
Italian confirmations now carry their proper accents, so your guests read
clean, correct wording in their own language.

Upgrading to Premium now always takes effect — in a rare case a payment
could go through without your site switching to Premium. Payments now activate
reliably, and any that slip through are caught and put right automatically.

A ceremony without a party venue (or the other way round) counts as done
— if you removed one of the two locations, the setup warning no longer asks
for the city and country of the location you took off your site. An address
on the location you kept is enough to send invitations.

Invitations always show where you're getting married — if you typed your
venue address yourself instead of picking a suggestion, invites and reminders
used to show only the venue name, with a map link that led nowhere. They now
show your full address, and the map link and calendar attachment point at it.

Buttons hidden behind the chat bubble — the floating "Next", language and
voice buttons now step aside for the support chat bubble, so nothing sits
underneath it.

No more repeat pop-ups while filling in your content — the "stay and
complete" warning no longer interrupts you every time you move between
sections that still have an empty required field. Fill things in whatever
order you like.

Upgrading to Premium — checkout opens reliably again, you can enter a
discount code on the payment page, your upgrade is confirmed right after
paying, and if anything does go wrong you get a clear message instead of a
technical error.

Back where you left off — if you're asked to sign in on the way to a
specific page, we now return you to that page afterwards instead of the
dashboard.

Gallery layouts — picking grid, masonry, or carousel now really changes
how your photos look, both in your preview and on your live site, and your
choice sticks even if you pick it the moment the page opens.

Photo viewer — the arrows for browsing photos fullscreen no longer jump
away when you move your mouse over them.

Premium themes — tapping a premium theme now opens the upgrade panel
right away, instead of looking like nothing happened.

Your partner's email is optional — setting up on your own is fine. We
only need each of your first names, and the couple step no longer asks for
an email address that isn't there.

Couple step ticks off properly — once your names and countries are in,
the couple step in the menu shows as done straight away, matching the tick
at the top of the page.

Sign-in page — if sign-in is ever temporarily unavailable, the page now
shows a friendly "try again" message instead of an error screen.

Photo viewer — opening a gallery photo in fullscreen now centers it
properly on the screen.

Pasting an email address — copy a contact straight from your mail app and
paste it in. We keep the address and quietly drop the rest, so there is
nothing to tidy up by hand.

The language menu on our website now scrolls on phones, so every language
is easy to reach.

Schedule times — the times you enter for your day's programme now show
up for your guests exactly as you typed them, in every timezone.

Travel section headings — travel tips are grouped under proper headings
again (By train, By car, …), translated into your guests' languages.

Travel categories in your language — the category names in your
dashboard (Airports, By train, Hotels, …) now follow the language you set
for your dashboard, instead of always showing English.

Invitation and reminder emails are now fully in your guest's language — the
weekday in the wedding date and the small footer line no longer show up in
English.

Guest setup blockers — when you haven't finished the required basics
yet, the guests page now names exactly which details are still missing and
gives a one-tap link to fix each one, instead of a generic "complete
onboarding" message.

Add to schedule on mobile — the "Add to schedule" button now responds on
the first tap and shows inline errors for a missing title, date, or time,
instead of staying greyed out with no feedback.

Add a love-story milestone on mobile — the "Add" button in your love
story now responds on the first tap and shows inline errors for a missing
title or date, instead of staying greyed out with no feedback.

We follow your browser's language — if your device is set to a language
we support, your dashboard now opens in that language instead of defaulting
to English when you arrive from our homepage. Your own language choice
always still wins.

Opening a photo — tapping a photo in your gallery, or one attached to a
travel tip, now opens it properly: the picture is centred, shown at its full
size and correct shape, with the page dimmed behind it. Tall photos are no
longer squeezed into a small strip, photos on travel tips no longer open off
the screen, and tapping the dark background closes the photo again.

Preview button and save messages in your language — the "Preview" /
"View page" button in the dashboard header and the "Saved" confirmations
that pop up after editing now follow the language you set for your
dashboard, instead of always showing English.

Adding a travel note clears the form — after you add a note in the
advanced editor, the box empties for the next one instead of keeping the
text you just saved.

A quieter save indicator on your fields — the small "SAVED" tag next to
each field is now just an icon: amber while you have unsaved edits, a
spinner while it saves, a green check when it lands. It also no longer
shows English wording when your dashboard is set to another language. There
is now one indicator per card instead of one per field, so a card with six
fields no longer shows six little save icons.

Browsing themes feels smooth again — clicking the arrows on the theme
picker quickly no longer makes the row of themes stutter or jump backwards.
Each click now moves you neatly one theme along.

Address suggestions stay visible — the list of address suggestions in
Content now sits on top of the page instead of being cut off by the edge of
the card, so you can see and pick every match.

Date and time buttons keep their text inside — long labels like "Pick a
milestone date" no longer spill out of the button in narrow columns; they
shorten with a "…" instead.

Partner invites no longer land in the wrong account — when your partner
opens your invite on the same computer where you are still signed in,
LumiWed now says who is signed in and offers to sign out so they can create
their own account, instead of quietly dropping them into your dashboard.

Guest detail panel — the soft header tint now runs edge-to-edge under the
close control, and side / language show as compact chips next to +1 instead of
separate cards.

Guest detail chips — a guest on one partner’s side now shows that
partner’s first name (e.g. “Sina’s side”) instead of “Partner 2”.

Premium themes — locked themes now show a clear crown and an unlock button, so you can tell at a glance which designs are part of Premium.

Guest language switcher — the header control is back for multi-language wedding sites; only the floating language button stays behind the PostHog toggle.

Poor translations no longer reach your guests — when a translation comes
back weak, we now try again instead of publishing it. If a line still can't
be translated well after a few tries, we leave your original wording in place
and tell you exactly which lines need a look, rather than putting something
wrong on your site.

Weak translations stay off your guest site — if a line was scored too low
to trust, guests now see your original wording instead of the bad translation.
Older rejected rows already in the database are hidden the same way.

Translating your content — every section now shows your original text right under the field you are translating, so you always see what you are working from. Previously only a few fields did.

Your site now really gets translated when you publish — publishing kicked
off the translation run, but the request never arrived, so every section —
travel notes, schedule, venue, your own words — stayed in the language you
wrote it in. Publish now reaches the translator every time, and each language
you added fills in on its own.

We hear about translation problems now, not you — if a publish can't hand
your site to the translator, or a translation job fails partway, it now pings
us right away instead of quietly leaving your site in one language.
