Weekly

New

  • Choose your dashboard language — pick the language for your LumiWed dashboard in Settings. We remember it on your account so it stays the same on every device, and new sign-ups start in the language they arrived in.

  • Organize guests by side — note which side each guest is coming from (one partner's, the other's, both, or still undecided) and filter your guest list by it, so planning and seating are easier.

  • Bigger guest lists, when you need them — add as many guests as you like. Free weddings can invite and publish for up to 50; go over and we'll let you know invites and publishing pause until you trim back or upgrade to Premium. You can still email yourself a preview of any guest's invite at any time.

  • The LumiWed newsletter — subscribe from the blog or homepage to get a warm monthly roundup of new articles and product updates. Confirm with one tap, manage your preferences any time, and unsubscribe in a single click.

  • Choose your emails — a new Notifications section in your dashboard settings lets you opt in or out of the monthly roundup whenever you like.

  • Meet the writers — every blog article now links to an author page with a short bio and all of that writer's stories.

  • A warm welcome from Rob — soon after you sign up you'll get a short, personal note from our founder, with a one-tap link to invite your partner so the two of you can plan your wedding together.

Improved

  • Add venues by searching — when you set your ceremony or venue, just start typing the place or address and pick it from the suggestions. We fill in the rest for your guests, so there's no more juggling separate address, city, and country fields.

  • Show or hide the map — for each ceremony or venue you can now choose whether your wedding site shows an embedded map. Either way, guests can tap the address to open it in Google Maps.

  • Sign in, in your language — the sign-in and sign-up screen now appears in your language, with a flag picker in the top corner to switch any time. It opens in the language of the page you came from, or your browser's.

• Your dashboard speaks your language — pick your dashboard language and the dashboard itself follows, not just the menu. Starting with your home overview — the setup checklist, stats, recent RSVPs, theme switcher and sharing options all appear in the language you chose.

  • A tidier couple page — both of you now share one clean card, with personal details and social links tucked behind simple toggles.

  • Clearer translations — when you edit a guest language, your original text now shows with its language and flag, so it's obvious what you're translating from.

  • Fresher stories on the blog — our daily journal now draws on a wider mix of what's happening — wedding-season trends, cultural celebrations, travel and traditions — so you'll see more variety, not the same theme twice.

  • A clearer way to go live — the publish step has a fresh look that shows what's ready at a glance, the languages your site will be available in, and a single tap to take it live.

  • A clearer language for each guest — your guest list now shows each guest's language as a tidy little flag, and you can change it from that guest's details whenever you need to.

  • A little help with languages — once you lock in your second language, we show you where to switch the language you're editing, and let you know your site is translated automatically on first publish — you can fine-tune it after.

  • Easier navigation on phones — your wedding site's menu now tucks into a tidy slide-out drawer on mobile, so guests can reach every section with one tap no matter how small their screen.

  • A beautiful new blog — the LumiWed Journal has a fresh editorial look: a featured story up top, browse-by-topic categories, and cleaner, easier-to-read articles with related reads at the end. Every post now arrives with its own warm, on-brand cover illustration — happy married couples from all walks of life — shown prominently at the top of each article and on mobile.

  • A clearer dashboard — your dashboard now guides you one step at a time: it shows the single most important next action, and your stats, RSVPs and theme picker appear once you've added your couple details.

  • A warmer dashboard design — a refreshed gold-on-ivory look with a guided sidebar that tracks your progress to going live, and a gentle "next step" prompt at the bottom of each setup page.

  • Tidier partner cards — both partner cards on the couple step now match each other with a compact profile photo, and inviting your partner to co-manage sits right on the card instead of a separate panel.

  • Sidebar fits smaller laptops — the dashboard sidebar is more compact, so every setup step stays in view without scrolling on smaller screens. Collapse it to a slim icon rail and hover any icon to see its label.

  • Clearer terms while we're in beta — our Terms of Service now spell out that LumiWed is still under active development, so you know what to expect as the platform grows.

  • A calmer, less cluttered dashboard — we trimmed repeated titles and long explanations across your dashboard pages. The detail is still there: tap the small ( i ) icon next to a field for a quick hint, so the screen stays clean and only the things that matter are spelled out.

  • Faster wedding sites — your guests' pages now load and appear quicker on phones, especially the cover photo, so the first impression arrives sooner.

  • Getting started is up to you — after you sign up you land straight on your dashboard. Would you rather have a quick chat to get going? Tap "Start interview" and we'll fill in your details for you — or set things up yourself. Either way, you're never stuck behind a pop-up.

Fixed

  • Settings opens reliably again — the settings page no longer fails to load on some phones.
  • RSVP push notifications need a phone number — you can only switch on push alerts for new RSVPs once at least one partner has a mobile number saved on their account, with a clear note when one's still missing.
  • Pop-ups fit smaller screens — dialogs now scroll on short or zoomed phone screens, so the buttons inside are always reachable.
  • Friendlier with screen readers — dashboard pop-ups now announce their title and every button has a clear spoken label, so the dashboard is easier to use with assistive technology.
  • More ways to share — when you invite a guest or share your live wedding site, we now write a warm, ready-to-go message for you — and for guest invites it's in their own language. Send it straight to WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram or Apple Messages, copy the link with one tap, or save the QR code as an image.
  • LumiWed logo on phone sign-in — the sign-in screen now shows the LumiWed logo on phones, matching the desktop view.
  • Jump straight to what's missing — when your guest list reminds you to finish the basics before sending invites, each missing detail is now a link that takes you right to the field to fill in.

Improved

  • Guest import fixes itself as you go — importing a guest list no longer rejects everyone over one bad row. The good rows import right away, and only the rows that need a fix stay in the box with a clear reason — fix them and import again, or discard what's left. Nothing is ever dropped silently.
  • Sturdier contact form — the contact form now shrugs off spam and abuse with a per-sender rate limit, so genuine messages always get through.

Fixed

  • Sign-up scrolls on phones — the create-account screen now scrolls fully on small screens, so the "Continue with Google" button at the top and the footer links at the bottom are always reachable.
  • Flags keep their true colors in dark mode — language flags no longer get recolored when your phone or browser forces a dark theme, so every flag stays crisp and correct wherever you see it.
  • A tidier language switcher — the flag picker on the sign-in screen now shows each language as a clean, crisp flag, so it looks just right in every corner of LumiWed.
  • Publishing never gets stuck spinning — if a translation run stalls, the status now stops waiting after a few minutes and tells you, instead of spinning indefinitely.
  • Your dashboard always loads — the visitor-count card no longer holds up the rest of your dashboard if our analytics service is slow to answer.
  • No more duplicate emails — when a payment or sign-up notification is retried behind the scenes, we now recognise it and skip the repeat, so you won't get the same confirmation twice.
  • A steadier site preview — your wedding-site preview now stays put even when a partner name or venue hasn't been filled in yet, or a photo is slow to load, instead of showing a broken tile or a blank screen.
  • Smoother voice onboarding — finishing the AI interview reliably lands you in your dashboard once, even if the call drops or reconnects, with no duplicate setup left behind.
  • Guest welcome note you can dismiss — the personal greeting that appears when a guest opens their invite now sits properly on top of the page, so it's easy to read and tap away instead of getting tucked behind the cover.
  • Tidier couple names on the cover — on the Classic Gold theme the two names and the "and" between them now sit evenly together, with the extra gap removed.
  • Mobile menu opens cleanly — on phones the wedding-site menu now slides out over the page (no longer hidden behind it), stays usable while open, and the header bar with the menu and language switcher stays pinned to the top as you scroll.
  • Wedding-site header truly sticks — the menu + language bar now stays pinned at the top of your wedding site as guests scroll, instead of vanishing.
  • Scroll-to-top ring fixed — the progress circle now wraps the back-to-top button correctly instead of floating as a tiny ring in the corner.
  • Notifications are easy to dismiss on phones — toast pop-ups now show their close button on touch devices and always sit on top, so they can be tapped away.
  • Couple step fits small phones — on very small screens the partner cards no longer run off the edge: fields stay within the screen, the label picker shows in full, and the page title and buttons sit comfortably instead of getting squeezed.
  • Buttons clear of the help bubble on phones — the "Next" and "back to top" buttons now sit in the bottom-left corner on mobile, so they no longer overlap the help/chat bubble.
  • Homepage theme photos always load — the wedding photos in the homepage themes carousel are now served from our own site, so they no longer occasionally fail to appear.
  • Never miss a required detail — when you try to continue with a required field still empty, we now scroll to it, highlight it, and give it a gentle nudge so it's easy to spot and finish.
  • "View on map" link reads properly — travel and accommodation cards on your wedding site now show a translated "View on map" link instead of a raw placeholder.
  • Guest side stays put — editing a guest's name, email, language or plus-one no longer resets which side they're on. Your side assignments now stick.
  • Tips that work on your phone — the little ( i ) info tips are now easy to tap and stay open for a few seconds when you tap them, so you can read them on a touchscreen. Tap elsewhere or tap the icon again to close.
  • Tips stay on screen — those little ( i ) info tips now keep within the edges of your phone screen and wrap their text, instead of running off the side and getting cut off.
  • "Go Premium" opens the upgrade right away — tapping "Go Premium" in the sidebar now opens your upgrade options instantly and shows the correct one-time price.
  • Accurate country count on the homepage — the live couples globe now counts each country once, so the "countries" number matches the flags shown (a name-variant glitch could previously count the same country twice).
