Weekly

New

  • A faster way in from our ads — tapping a LumiWed ad now lands on a focused welcome page in your language, with a live preview of a wedding site switching languages and one clear way to start for free.

  • A headline in every colour — "In Every Language" on our homepage now drapes itself in the flag colours of all 17 supported languages, one by one.

  • See exactly what Free and Premium include — a new side-by-side table on the homepage lays out every feature, from guest limits and languages to the guestbook, RSVP reminders and privacy controls, so you can tell at a glance what you get before you pay anything.

Improved

  • Straight back to your dashboard — when you're already signed in and land on lumiwed.com, the button in the header now says "Go to dashboard" and takes you there, instead of asking you to start over.

  • Sign-in backdrop — the background video is now brighter while keeping forms easy to read.

  • Sign-in experience — enjoy a calmer, more polished welcome with quick links to LumiWed's social channels.

  • Cookie choices, everywhere. A small banner now asks for your cookie preferences on lumiwed.com and in the couple dashboard — accept all or keep just the essentials, and we honor your browser's privacy signal automatically. One choice covers the whole site.

  • More room on your phone — the content, guests, settings and account pages now use the full width of small screens, so form fields, guest cards and setting rows are easier to read and tap. Nothing changes on tablet or desktop.

  • Translations finish sooner — your wedding content now moves through translation several times faster, and two couples publishing at the same moment no longer wait for each other.

  • Premium translates first — Premium weddings jump the queue and translate with more capacity, so a large multilingual site is ready sooner.

  • Simpler pricing comparison — the Free vs Premium table on lumiwed.com now leads with what's included on both plans, then what's limited, then what's Premium-only, so it's quicker to see what actually changes when you upgrade.

  • The Free vs Premium comparison now speaks your language — the feature table on the homepage is translated into all 17 languages, and it shows how invitation sending differs between the plans, including the test invite to your own address that always goes out immediately.

  • Clearer language confirmation — when you pick your second site language on the free plan, the dialog now shows at a glance what's included, how changes work later, and what Premium adds.

  • Easier language picking — every language dropdown in your dashboard now works the same way: type to search, and see each language with its flag and its own name, like "German (Deutsch)".

  • Smoother translation status — if a translation needs another pass, we now retry it automatically and let you know with a quick notice, plus a small "translating…" indicator while it's in progress. Hover or tap it to see a live progress bar and exactly how many strings are done.

  • Offers apply themselves — when we send you a discount in your dashboard, the code is now pre-applied at checkout. No more copying it over by hand.

  • Premium comparison — you can now see clearer Free and Premium differences before upgrading.

  • Clearer publishing — your site now says plainly that it goes live right away, with translations arriving in the background as they finish, so there is nothing to wait around for.

  • Recent RSVPs readable on a phone — the dashboard's recent-replies list now shows each responder as a card instead of a wide table, so the plus-one, dietary notes and status are visible without scrolling sideways. Tap a card to open that guest.

  • Your own guest entry — open your own name from the guest list and the same small note appears there too, so you always know that invitation is a test send.

  • Testing your own invitation — add yourself as a guest and that invitation now arrives right away, even on the free plan, and never uses up any of your plan's invite sending. Your guest list shows a small note on that row so you know it is a test.

  • Start whenever you are ready — the start page now keeps a clear sign-up button within reach as you browse, on phones and larger screens.

  • Smoother theme browsing — The theme carousel's arrow buttons now visibly respond while the strip is moving, so quick repeated clicks feel acknowledged.

Fixed

  • Sign-in screen — the support chat bubble no longer sits on top of the sign-in and sign-up form.

  • Clearer content editor — Saving a translated section now shows a spinner, item titles open the editor when you click them, and the Continue button tells you which detail is still missing instead of silently doing nothing.

  • Cookie and privacy policies — now say plainly which advertising and conversion-measurement tools run on our website and dashboard, and that guest wedding sites carry none of them.

  • Cookie banner — you'll only ever see one cookie banner now, and the choice you make in it is the one that sticks.

  • Smoother start to setting up your site — the "Couple" step in the sidebar now always takes you straight there, even before you've finished the welcome interview, and the locked "Publish" step now always tells you why it's locked instead of only the first time you click it.

  • A rare page-loading hiccup — we fixed an occasional error that could interrupt your dashboard or wedding site as a page loaded. Pages now render reliably.

  • Replies reach the right person — emails from LumiWed now carry a proper reply-to address, so answering a guest invitation or a support email goes to whoever sent it instead of back to us.

  • Editing a guest's side — you can change which partner a guest belongs to again, right where you edit their details. Sides now show each partner's name instead of "X's side".

  • Our homepage — the opening section is back at the top of lumiwed.com, so the page you land on introduces LumiWed again.

  • Homepage navigation links — the Pricing and FAQ links in the site menu now scroll to the right section instead of landing somewhere above it.

  • Sign-up on your phone — the "Start for free" button now stays with you while you scroll the homepage on mobile.

  • Easier to read — faint text across the homepage, footer and help pages is now darker and comfortable to read, and animations respect your reduced-motion setting.

  • Invites blocked by a guest's language now tell you what to do — the message names the language, in your own language, and takes you straight to adding it or unlocking more languages.

  • Italian founder welcome email — updated the wording and partner invitation layout using native-speaker feedback.

  • Language lock tip — the quick tour that points out the language switcher after you lock your second language could sometimes fail to appear. It shows up reliably now.

  • Site translations — long sections (like travel details) no longer get stuck untranslated after repeated timeouts.

  • Couple page on mobile — fixed a large empty gap at the bottom of the couple details page on phones, and added a floating Next button and scroll-to-top so it's easy to move on once you're done.

  • Fixed a stuck onboarding step — clicking a locked setup step in the sidebar now always shows you why it's locked and how to unlock it, instead of only responding the first time.

  • Dashboard language — your chosen language now stays selected after first-time setup, together with your date and time formats.

  • Counted labels stay reliable in every language — an extra check now renders every "2 photos ready"-style label in all 17 dashboard languages before release, so a missing plural form can't reach you again.

  • RSVP confirmation emails — guests can now check their attendance choice for each wedding event alongside their party, dietary needs, and message.

  • Dashboard fixed in Czech, Slovak, Polish, Croatian and Romanian — pages that count things (photos ready to upload, fields to translate, guests selected) no longer break when the number is two, three or four.

  • Broken links no longer show a blank page — if a messaging app or mail client mangles the link you were sent, your wedding site, sign-in page and dashboard now open normally instead of showing nothing.

  • Signing back in — if your session timed out mid-edit, signing back in now returns you to the page you were on instead of a blank technical page.

  • Staying signed in — a brief hiccup between your browser and our servers no longer signs you out; we now give the session a moment to settle and put you back where you were.

  • No more stuck sign-in screen — if your connection drops while we're signing you back in, you now land on the sign-in page instead of a spinner that never finishes.

  • Translations arrive again after publishing — a short-lived bug made freshly published content skip translation, so guests saw it in your main language only. Publishing now translates everything as expected.

  • Correct theme and language counts everywhere — the site now shows all 11 themes and 17 languages we actually ship, and the Free plan is credited with the 4 themes it has always included instead of just one.

  • Welcome email language — your welcome email now uses the language selected when you sign up.
