New

Delete your account for good — Settings › Workspace now has a danger zone that removes your account and your wedding website on the spot: guest list, RSVPs, photos and translations included. To make sure it is never a slip, you confirm by typing your wedding website slug, and you can copy it straight from the dialog. If you plan together with a partner, they lose access at the same moment and we email them to explain what happened.
Phone-frame preview and a Render tab — the Design workspace's mobile preview now sits inside a clean iPhone-style device frame. A new "Render" tab shows the same frame as a polished, larger hero shot on a soft backdrop — handy for a quick shareable look at the site.

Improved

Hero photo display picker — the "behind the names" / "opening photo" choice is now a labeled dropdown ("Display style") instead of two buttons, and the veil slider is now "Overlay opacity". Picking a style also updates the live preview immediately — it used to only take effect after leaving and returning to the page.
A redesigned Design page — one workspace with a Theme tab and a Sections tab beside a full-height live preview of your real site. Picking a theme now only previews it; an explicit Apply button is what your guests see, so you can browse looks without changing your live site. Sections show what's on your page in order, flag what each one still needs before guests can see it, and the cover photo and browser-tab icon now live inside the Hero section where they belong. A desktop / phone toggle shows both sizes.
Design preview polish — the phone preview on the Design page now scrolls like a real site instead of clipping content, the desktop preview sits in a browser-window frame, and the redundant "Render" tab is gone.
Plan feature table — the Free and Premium plan rows now carry the same feature keys the upgrade dialog uses, so both read from one place.
Premium comparison table — the upgrade dialog now lists everything Premium unlocks: guest limit (50 vs 500), the custom welcome message, how long your site stays online after the wedding (1 vs 12 months) and priority email support, next to the URL, languages, themes, privacy mode and delivery rows it already had.
Premium comparison table — the upgrade dialog now lists only the Premium features that are actually enforced today, and every Premium row is switched by the same flag that switches the feature itself. Guest limit reads 1,000 everywhere Premium is described.
Premium guest limit raised to 1,000 — Premium weddings can now invite and publish with up to 1,000 guests (was 500). Free stays at 50.
Pricing tables — the website comparison table, the pricing cards and the upgrade dialog now all read the plan limits and features from one place, so a plan change shows up everywhere at once.
Support knows where account deletion lives — asking our chat "where do I delete my account?" now gets you the steps straight away instead of waiting for a person. Asking us to actually delete it still goes to a human, as it should.

Fixed

Couple details lockout — Content, Design, and Guests no longer show a "complete your couple details first" popup when the dashboard checklist already reports those details done. The checklist, the sidebar lock, and the couple page now read the same "couple details complete" rule, and the sidebar stays open until the check finishes loading.
Couple page no longer crashes mid-setup — opening (or hovering toward) the Couple step in the few seconds while a brand-new wedding was still being set up could show an error screen instead of the profile form, stranding the couple on their very first step. The page now falls back to the wedding's language for a partner whose details are not written yet.
Demo-content choice on iPhone — picking "demo content" or "start clean" no longer fails with a sign-in error when Safari has quietly dropped your session cookie; the choice now re-authenticates the same way the rest of setup does.
One wedding per couple — tapping "set up" more than once on a slow connection could quietly create several weddings for the same account, after which saves failed with "wedding access denied". Your dashboard now always lands on the same wedding, and repeat taps no longer create extras.
Emails now greet you properly even without a first name — lifecycle and welcome emails used to open with a broken "Hallo ," (or an English "Hallo there,") when we didn't know your first name. Each language now uses its own natural greeting instead.
Follow-up tips after setup — if you created your wedding straight from the couple page, by voice interview, or by starting fresh after deleting one, the follow-up emails with tips for adding your guests never came. They now arrive for every way of setting up, like they already did for the "set it up myself" button.
Guest invite emails — an invite no longer shows a raw {{{...}}} placeholder or a dangling comma when part of the venue address is missing; the email now simply shows the details you filled in.
Guest links with stray characters — an invite link mangled by a scanner, chat app, or copy-paste (one with a stray <, >, ", backtick, {, or } in it) used to spin forever instead of failing cleanly. It now resolves right away.
Guest lists with accented email addresses open again — a guest whose address contains an accented character (patricia.patiño@…, günter.seidl@…) no longer stops your whole guest list from loading, and you can keep editing that guest's name, side and plus-ones without having to change their address first.
Wedding site navigation — the top nav on the guest site now collapses to a hamburger menu whenever the section links genuinely don't fit, instead of only below a fixed screen-width breakpoint, so a wedding with many sections (or long translated labels) never shows a horizontal scrollbar. The language switcher also now hugs the true right edge of the screen on wide viewports, and its button height matches the hamburger trigger's.
Hero photo preview stays in sync — removing or replacing the hero background photo on the Design page now updates the live preview instantly. It used to keep showing the old photo (or the old empty placeholder) until the page was reloaded.
Invented prices in a Journal article — our multicultural weddings guide quoted venue, catering and music costs that came from nowhere. The figures are gone, and the daily writer no longer publishes a price it cannot source.
Invitation emails on dark themes — guests on a dark wedding theme (Midnight Blue, Velvet Noir, Noir & Blanc) received an invitation whose date, venue and invite code were dark text on a dark card, effectively invisible. The detail cards now stay light and tinted in the couple's theme, and every theme's couple name, labels and RSVP button meet AA contrast in the inbox.
Saving settings from the phone no longer resets the rest — a settings save in the mobile app used to write a default over every option it did not carry, so changing the language or the plus-one limit there quietly switched off privacy mode, the guest list and its sub-toggles, guest comments, the RSVP deadline and reminder emails, deleted the reminder schedule, and dropped every language except the new default. Only the fields the app actually sends are written now.
One wedding per couple — if two "set up" requests race, the second now lands on the wedding the first created instead of failing with an error.
The plan shown in the mobile app — the mobile settings screen and the API behind it now read a couple's plan the same way the rest of LumiWed does, so a Premium wedding is shown as Premium and gets its full reminder allowance there too. Saving settings can no longer change the plan: it is set by checkout and billing alone.
Saving reminder settings works again. A schema change required a column the running code did not yet write, so the save failed for everyone until both sides had shipped.
Reminder emails no longer go out on the old fixed schedule when you have set up your own reminder rules. Until the new scheduler is switched on, a wedding with custom rules waits rather than sending the wrong ones.
Reminder emails now go out on the schedule you set. Choose to count from the wedding day or from when each guest's invitation went out, in days, weeks or months, and LumiWed sends them at that moment — and never chases a guest who has already replied.
Required RSVP questions in the mobile app — the setting that waits for a guest's required answers before counting an RSVP complete now reads and saves correctly outside the dashboard. It always reported itself as off there, and saving from the phone could not turn it on.
RSVP respond-by date — the "please respond by" date on your guest wedding site no longer occasionally triggers a page reload or blank flash on phones; the date is now prepared once on the server so it renders identically the moment the page loads.
RSVP page no longer goes blank for guests marked attending by the couple — a guest whose RSVP was recorded from the couple's dashboard (instead of by answering themselves) could open their RSVP link to an empty page with no way to see their answer or change it. The page now always offers "Update response" once a guest has answered, whether or not they were the one who submitted it.
Preview page greeting banner — fixed a glitch where the welcome banner on your preview page could error out and disappear right after the page loaded.
Guest wedding site comments — fixed a glitch where the comment timestamps on your guest wedding site could occasionally cause the page to reload or flash blank right after it loaded.
Settings deep links — opening a settings link that jumps to a specific section (for example the workspace or notification settings) no longer briefly flashes the wrong tab or drops your first tap while the page settles.
Faster first dashboard load — the dashboard now opens right after you sign up. It no longer waits on background notification and email steps, so a slow mail or push service can no longer hold you on a blank screen.
Trust Center now loads correctly — trust.lumiwed.com was showing the wrong page; it now shows our security and subprocessor information as intended.
Dates no longer shift by a day — love story milestones and family birthdays now show the exact date you entered for everyone, whatever timezone your guests are browsing from.
Fixed — wedding sites (<slug>.lumiwed.com) now carry a description, canonical link, and Open Graph / Twitter card tags, so guest-link query variants (?g=, ?rsvp=) collapse to one indexable URL and shared links render a proper preview card. Also fixed a dangling JSON-LD reference on the homepage that failed schema.org validation on every locale.
Wedding URL stays put — a couple who set a custom wedding address keeps it after their Premium period ends. Settings › Publishing now shows the address the wedding site actually answers on, matching the sidebar, and saving the editor no longer quietly moves the site to a different address — so invitation links already sent to guests keep working. Premium is still what unlocks changing the address.
