What's new — September 27, 2026 #

This week's LumiWed product updates.

New

• A new look is on the way — LumiWed gets a fresh design in October 2026. A short note at the top of your dashboard lets you know ahead of time; your wedding site, guests and settings stay exactly as they are.

Improved

• Language pickers show the language, not a country — every language menu, in your dashboard and on your wedding site, now labels each language with its code (EN, DE, PT…) instead of a flag, so Portuguese, Swedish or Chinese no longer look like a single country's language.

Fixed

• Deleting your account — we now also remove you from the system that sends our emails. Before, the account was gone but the mailing contact stayed behind, so reminders could still arrive after you had left.

• Address search — when address suggestions can't load, the venue and parking fields now tell you instead of just looking stuck, and you can still type the address in yourself.

• When a change won't save — the "Couldn't save" message now always tells you why, instead of appearing with no explanation at all. Picking your own web address explains itself too, whether the address is taken, changed too recently, or needs Premium.

• Fixed a crash on broken wedding-claim links — if your invite link got mangled by an email client and the token became too long, you'd land on a blank error page. Now you'll see a clear "link not found" message instead.

• Saving your couple details — a half-typed partner email or social link no longer blocks you from saving other details on the same page, like a name or where you're from. The unfinished field waits for you to complete it, and everything else saves as you go.

• Sign-up stays put when you change language — switching the page language partway through accepting an invitation or signing up no longer freezes the screen, so you can finish creating your account in the language you picked.

• Saving your ceremony & venue details — a long address or a pasted Google Maps parking link no longer blocks you from saving other details on the same location, like turning the map on or off.

• Setup reminder email — the reminder we send when your wedding site is still a draft no longer points you at the voice interview, which is switched off. It now describes the setup you actually see, in every language we send.

• Fixed a crash on your preview and design pages — a stray or hand-edited language link (for example one saved from an old bookmark) could land you on a blank error page instead of your wedding site preview or design editor. Now it just falls back to your default language.

• Editing a reminder's timing works on a phone again — clearing the number box to retype it used to close the keyboard after a single tap and leave a 0 behind, and while that 0 sat there nothing else on the settings page would save either. You can now clear the box, type the new number, and everything on the page saves as usual.

• Guest RSVP — the "Confirm attendance" button (in the header, and the one that follows you as you scroll) now reopens the RSVP form even after you've closed it once, instead of just scrolling and appearing to do nothing.

• RSVP confirmation email — the receipt a guest gets after replying now arrives in your wedding's colours, like the invitation did, instead of LumiWed's own. Attending and declined stay green and red so the answer is still obvious at a glance.

• RSVP form stays closed on phones — when a guest closed the RSVP form on their phone, it could spring straight back open, sometimes several times in a row. It now stays closed until they choose to open it again.

• Sign-in recovers when it stalls — if signing in ever stopped on a "Still finishing sign-in" card, its "Try again" button now starts a fresh attempt and "Sign in again" keeps the page you were heading to, so you land in the right place instead of the dashboard home.

• Your web address — if you changed it in Settings while the content editor was still open in another tab, editing your site title or languages in that older tab could fail to save or put the old address back. The editor now leaves your address alone unless you change it there.
