Weekly

New

  • Background music — with Premium, play soft music on your wedding site: pick one of five classical pieces, or upload your own MP3 once you confirm you have the rights to play it. Guests hear it quietly from their first tap and can pause it or turn it down at any time. Switch it on in Settings → Music.

  • Card gifts into a fund — with Premium, add a fund to your gift list (your honeymoon, a new sofa) and guests give to it by card, iDEAL, Bancontact and more. The money goes straight to your own Stripe account; set it up once from the Gifts page. What guests give stays a surprise unless you choose to see it in Settings.

  • Gifts — a new Gifts page in your dashboard and a Gifts section for your wedding site. Add gifts with a photo, a link and how many you'd like, and guests reserve them so nobody brings the same thing twice. Paste a shop link and LumiWed fills in the name, photo and price where the shop allows it. Add your bank details for a money gift, in your own country's format (IBAN, UK, US, Canada, Australia and more), and euro accounts get a code guests can scan with their banking app. You can also link a PayPal, Tikkie or Revolut page and lists you keep elsewhere, like an Amazon wishlist. What guests reserve stays a surprise unless you choose to see it in Settings.

  • See what your guests see, before you sign up — on lumiwed.com you can now enter your email and receive a real invitation to our demo wedding, then RSVP on your phone exactly like a guest would, in English, Spanish or Mandarin. The demo is clearly marked and resets every night.

  • Years on your love story — in Design → Sections, choose how the dates in your love story read: day and month, with the year, month and year, or just the year. Story dates also no longer slip back a day for weddings in the Americas.

Improved

  • More fonts, and one just for headings — choose a font for your headings separately from your names and body text, from twenty new faces: flowing scripts, elegant serifs, display faces like Cinzel and modern sans fonts. Each font now tells you if it can't show every letter of a language your site speaks, so Polish, Romanian or Russian guests read your site as you designed it.

  • Gifts in your order — your Gifts page is now one list of everything: gifts, funds, bank details, payment links and registries you keep elsewhere. Drag them (or use the arrows) into any order you like, and guests see them in exactly that order on your site.

  • Your site stays out of search engines — Google and other search engines no longer list your wedding site unless you choose to. To let people find it by searching your names, turn on "Let search engines show our website" in Settings → Publishing. Invitation links and RSVP pages always stay out.

  • Photo gallery is part of Premium — adding new photos to your gallery now needs Premium. A gallery you already have stays on your site, and you can still reorder, caption or remove its photos.

  • Premium lists everything it includes — the upgrade window now shows the reminder emails (one on Free, up to five with Premium), the emails that tell guests about new or changed moments, and priority email support.

  • Reminder emails show the way to more — on Free, once you have used your one reminder, the Add reminder button now opens the Premium details (up to five reminders) instead of doing nothing. With Premium, reaching five no longer suggests upgrading.

  • RSVP confirmation email — after answering, your guests now see that a confirmation is on its way to their inbox, and the email's "change your answer" line takes them straight back to their RSVP.

  • Translation reminders — when you edit the content of a live site in more than one language, a quiet note now tells you when your changes aren't translated yet, with a one-tap way to translate them on Premium or publish them on Free.

  • Line up your witnesses — a witness standing alone on one side of the wedding party is now centred instead of sitting off to the left, and in Design → Sections you can set the witnesses (and your own profiles) to the left, the centre or the right.

Fixed

  • Autofilled details now save properly — when your phone or password manager filled in a name or detail for you, the page could still treat it as blank: you would see "please add…" over text you could read, and the field would not save until you cleared it and typed it again. Filled-in details are now picked up everywhere in your dashboard.

  • Card gift totals subtract refunds and chargebacks — when you refund part of a card gift, your Gifts page now counts only what you kept, and a gift whose payment the guest's bank took back no longer counts at all.

  • Calendars stay on screen — on a computer, a date picker near the bottom of the window now opens its calendar above the field instead of running off the edge, and it stays put while you flip through the months.

  • Font picker — choosing a font further down the list no longer pushes the preview out of view or leaves the Design page blank.

  • Theme colours — picking a colour for your theme on the Design page no longer freezes the page on Safari.

  • Emails in your language — the welcome note from Rob and the setup reminders arrive in the language you picked again; for a few weeks some came in English instead. The welcome note now also comes in Serbian, Russian and Chinese.

  • Every theme fits your names on phones — long names, double names and script fonts now size down to fit a small screen in every theme instead of running past the edge, the countdown stays on one row even in German and Finnish, Amalfi Citrus puts its lemon panel below your names on phones, and the phone preview in Design now shows your site the way guests see it — an opening photo included, which fills the preview's screen instead of overflowing it.

  • Your wedding site names you, not the demo couple — if your site title was still the demo one ("Rob & Anna in Amsterdam") or empty, your site's tab and footer, your guests' invitation page and RSVP email, and every link you share on WhatsApp or iMessage now show your own names.

  • Hero photo — a photo that is too big or in the wrong format is now turned down straight away, and says which it was, instead of letting you crop it and then failing with just "Upload failed". Photos up to 10 MB in JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF are accepted.

  • Screen readers name your locked email — the sign-in address on your Couple page, and a partner's address while their invite is open, are now announced as "Email" instead of an unlabelled text field.

  • Modern Minimal fits your names on phones — your names no longer run into the date and venue on a small screen: the date and place now sit below your names, long names and script fonts size down to fit, and the "Date" and "Place" labels show in your guests' language.

  • Modern Minimal schedule reads well on phones — a long place name no longer squeezes each moment's title into a narrow column or runs off the screen: on a phone the place now sits under the title and description.

  • Modern Minimal numbers your sections in order — the big numbers beside each section heading now count 01, 02, 03… down the page in the order you set, skipping sections with nothing to show. Before, Schedule always read 03 and your story sections 02, wherever they sat, and the rest showed a dash.

  • Email confirmation after answering — a guest who adds their email after RSVPing now actually receives the confirmation, and is only told to check their inbox when one was sent.

  • Screen readers name your RSVP questions in preview — when you preview your site, each custom RSVP question's answer field is now announced with the question itself instead of as an unlabelled field.

  • Schedule days in your guests' language — the days on your wedding site's schedule now show in the language your guests are reading, like your preview already did.

  • Settings no longer show an old value after you switch tabs — saving your guest-reply, RSVP notification, RSVP section order, dietary tag, site password or profile phone settings and then moving between Settings tabs now shows what you saved, instead of the value from before.

  • Theme colours — picking a colour in Safari no longer freezes the Design page; the picker now keeps working through the whole edit.
